I used to watch Lupin III a bit on Adult Swim sometime ago, but only because it was there. So I'm familiar, but not a true fan.
Last night, by accident, I saw this movie linked somewhere and found the entire movie on YouTube (legally). I'm so glad I did! It was completely wonderful. I'm so excited and happy to have sat down and enjoyed a movie so much!
It's silly, but watching a movie this good just makes me feel so glad to be alive.

I never saw the TV show, but my mother was familiar with the original French series (about Arsene Lupin, the grandfather). It didn't make it any less enjoyable for me, although now I want to look into the TV show.

I've seen the show many times and I'm a big fan of Hayao Miyazaki. This is definitely one of my favorites of his. Awesome stuff

Such a entertaining film with charismatic characters and fantastic musical score.

This film is probably the best introduction to Lupin the 3rd (if you haven't seen the TV series or read the original manga), and it's also one of my Top 5 favourite animated films, too :)
shareI agree with all of you, a great, understated film. This is my favorite anime film of all time. It's always funny seeing Zenigata trying to catch Lupin and the gang.
