Michael Douglas's face at the end. *Spoiler Alert'

wow... I can't believe there are no other threads for this film!

EchooOOooOOo..... EchooOOOoOOoooo...

In any case, I saw this film a very long time ago and the only reason I remembered it now was because I noticed that Michael Douglas produced "Starman", which I was checking out.

SPOILER ALERT

This 14 year old kid (at that time) actually loved this film, ...but... the face that Michael was making as he finally crossed the finish line????

That's all.

i saw this film when i was young too...about 10 or so. i recently bought a rather poorly transfered dvd version off amazon.com and found it to be as enjoyable -- maybe more so -- as i remember.

michael douglas's face at the end is memorable. i've run 10 full-length marathons, and though i've finished aching and exhausted before, i can't say i ever worn such a stoic countenance at the finish line. he's like "yeah, this is life and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose and sometimes it's a helluva lot harder than what you trained for"

he really nailed this role, though. and the movie is definitely worth it. there aren't enough movies about runners. this film has a very good musical score too, by andre gagnon.
