Who was your favorite character in this movie? I liked the whale Big Ben. It always seems to come to the rescue and, he is very sweet.

I really dug Scratcher the nasty, jealous, spiteful outcast reindeer. Alan Sues did a perfectly smarmy'n'snarky voice as Scratcher.

I always kind of wondered what happened to Scratcher, and why he was left out of the final battle between Rudolph and Winterbolt?

Rankin and Bass themselves were said to have hated this movie and were just doing for contractual reasons so no wonder its just crappy

King Winterbolt is a great villain

He kinda comes across as some stereotypical "bad gay," which is weird. (It was a tradition in films for decades.)
