Upcoming Studio Ghibli DVD release (+trailer)

Apparently, Studio Ghibli has decided to start releasing foreign classics for the Japanese market. This is great news. I'm still hoping for an English-subtitled release of the 1980 version of the film, though. It has to happen someday...

The Ghibli release is of pristine quality but has only the French soundtrack and japanese subs.
