Micky has such a way with words

My favorite Mickey-ism is in this movie. "I don't wanna get mad in a biblical place like this."

"That's coming from an old, broken-down pug like me! What do you think the champ will do to ya!? He'll hurtcha, poimanent! Poimanent!!"

Him and Rocky are the best with words and they play off of each other pretty well. Love the way Rocky says to Adrian in the first film "I don't know what to say because I ain't never talked to no door before you know?" and in Rocky Balboa instead of saying "I'm too old" he says "I've had a few too many birthdays."

I may be paraphrasing a little but... "He'll kill ya to death inside of 3 Rounds!"

"I've seen wrestlers that was bigger than dinosaurs!!!"

"you ever fought a dinosaur, kid?", "he'll knock you into morrow", "get your little chicken asses outta here", "then let her train you". rocky: - "what will we do after all this is over?" mickey: - "i don't know... join a circus.". this movie gives you the feeling the rocky story have already been told in the first movie, and this mostly seem to have rocky drifting around, first showing success after the match with apollo creed, then him put through some commercial work being humiliated, which are some really uncomfortable scenes to watch, then looking for a regular job... to then deciding for a rematch making it sort of a repeat of the first movie, by the way, rocky already retiring in the second flick seems strange now with all the sequels, kind of like those long haired rock groups going on a last tour several times, there is nothing really memorable about this second instalment, but then by the third it really hits off with some entertainment and action. paulie eager to wanting rocky's old job makes the role of paulie even more unlikeable.
