Sting was so sexy in this movie

This movie along with "Dune" was when Sting looked so freakin' hot!!

He looked like a *beep*

And they had to remove all his speaking parts because of his high pitched squeaky voice and Geordie accent. AND he couldn't dance at all. Just a bloody bell-boy !

reply

He always acts like he has attitude.

If it harms none, do what thou wilt.

He looked like a dweeb in that ridiculous bell boy outfit, bordering on camp.Oh hello sailer!

reply

That was the idea. The ultimate rebel was a bootlicker!!

I love how when someone says that a man is hot or sexy a bunch of males have to come in and slam the guy. Jealous, much? "I'll never be beautiful!" - "Now I'll have to develop my brain and personality!"

reply

Yes, you young people might not believe it, but there was a time when Sting was as cool as it got.

Makes me wonder: does every cool icon carry the seeds of their own un-coolness? Do they "go uncool" if they stay on the scene long enough?

reply

Bono and those idiotic glasses he shills, that he had surgically attached would be the answer to that question.

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!

People, just saw the movie this weekend and absolutely loved it, some scenes I watched 10 times already, such as the Ace Face dancing in Brighton or the "let's have him" scene when the battle starts out.

My question is, being born a few years after the movie premiered, was Sting already very famous, sort of famous?

Thanks!
