anyone else get the South Park reference?

THe first time i saw this movie and saw that Katahula thing i was OMG THATS where they got man bear pig from.... That thing was wicked.

I laughed my ass of when they did that on South Park. I couldn't believe they would make such an obscure reference. The amazing thing is that very few people still don't where the Manbearpig comes from.

Manbearpig comes from the genitals of Mr. and Mrs. Manbearpig.

I didn't get the reference back when I first saw the episode, but upon watching Prophecy for the first time, the one thing that kept popping into my head was "Manbearpig!"

Matt and Trey are great at pulling obscure references out of nowhere and somehow making them work. I think this movie made me appreciate that episode all the more.

I always think of the Yao guai from Fallout 3. But I can see Manbearpig.

I thought South Park's 'manbearpig' was inspired by 'Manhog,' the villain character in Jim Woodring's 'Frank' comic.

I thought exactly the same thing after seeing prophecy. That's ManBearPig. I had to come hear to see if anyone posted about it.
