Is there a studio audience throughout this film?????

I've seen the three series of "Porridge", which Series 2 being the best easily. I always thought it took a while to get going, especially with that stupid "idiot" character who hung around Fletcher in Series 1. Glad he was written out!
But i've seen this film a few times on dvd in various stores and have thought about getting it. Just one thing though; does the film have laughter through it or is it a proper motion picture???

I know that most UK comedy shows in the 1970s ended up getting spin off movies ("Steptoe & Son", "Dad's Army", "The Likely Lads", "George and Mildred", "Are You Being Served?", etc.) and often found that when the studio audience is removed, many jokes come across as awkward or not funny. Definitely with the "Are You Being Served?" film. That was akward as hell without laughter. lol.

It's a film without a laugh-track and it works fine for it.
