I thought i was going to be in for a little of a snooze when i first put this film in, but it was fast paced, and funny and very well acted!!!!!!!!!
And i love how, though the plumber is creepy.. he never does anything wrong. He never attacks her, or steals anything...... Your almost suppose to think he is this bad guy. But he doesnt do anything. He just acts weird....

I've seen this film several times over the last couple years, never grew tired of it and as of today - it's a rainy evening - I just watched it again.
Weir went on to become one of Australias finest directors and even in this very early work his special talent showed already. Perfect example of a low budget production that matches easily many dull Hollywood blockbusters!
Actually Weir's movies made me interested in the Australian film scene and only recently I started to delve into it and check out as much as I can. Many great short movies and cinema productions, more than a few I've found to be very special and innovative like The Plumber.
I love this film. In fact I'd rate it as one of Peter Weir's better productions.
