WOW!!!

Friends,

I saw this movie in an actual movie theater on what I believe was it's first (and quite probably ONLY) theatrical run way back in like '77 or maybe '78. That means that as of now it's been 36 or 37 years between viewings. I've just seen it again thanks to Amazon Prime. I remembered very little of it, and I think that the copy I just viewed via streaming is somewhat edited. I remember David saying several times that he had to "whisper", and eventually he screamed, "Dammit!!! I GOTTA PEE!!!". I may have been wrong, but I don't think so. I remember both my mother and I chuckling at that in the theater (I'd have been maybe 10 or 11, around Davids age), and every so often over the years we'd joke about it, usually in public, and with people who had no idea what we were saying. Anyway, the movie seemed uneven and contrived back then and it still does. Basically I think the story is that Davids Aunt drove him to madness to the point that he shot her. Anyway, a crappy little movie that you probably shouldn't watch, but if you do... remember that the director never worked again.

Yea, there's a bunch of scenes Edited from this film, not just from your streaming copy, but the VHS Prism copies as well.
I watch it in a theatre as well. I thought it was pretty bold film for that time. Maybe one day the complete version will come out and do this movie sone real justice that it deserved. .
