Persona
such a great film. remind me of a lot of "Persona" which was made about 10 years before.
anybody else saw the influence?

You're on to something! I've seen both Persona and Opening Night and definitely see the influence the former had on the latter. Persona, I can see, is an allegory on the analytical strains, emotionally and mentally, an actor/actress must take in preparation for a role. Opening Night is sort of along those lines except more about the business of showbusiness and theatre than Persona, which was more abstract and convoluted.
