some people like it, some don't. i managed only the first 30 mins of the film. cant stand seeing more.

What kind of film were you expecting to see? This is serious drama and as such requires a commitment from the viewer to get involved. There was no fluff in this film.

i watched all of it and can tell you didn't miss anything, it is very un-engaging
i don't see how you can get into it unless you feel a connection with the main actress

i have to say that Gena Rowlands doesn't do it for me, neither in this nor in "A Woman Under The Influence", she's not a subtle actress, it doesn't feel like it's coming natural to her, you always feel like she's acting
