Cloris Leachman's nails
is this the movie where cloris looses her nails in the car
shareyeah. her car gets hit in the "Destruction Derby" scene and it messes her nails up, so she takes revenge and uses her car to ram back.
why would you go and be in something like that with your hair and nails partly being done??
I think she probably just got so caught up
in stopping the bad guys that she forgot about
her nails and her hair. I think she was having
highlights done or something when she leaves the salon.
after all the effort she had put into the project she's not gonna just not go and find the bank. she had already had a run in with one of the drivers which apparently wrecked her car and they had blown up her church. plus, she was totally enamoured of reverend hill. she's not gonna leave him hanging, for sure, or all her friends that she's become so close with. hair and nails can be fixed, but this was more important to her.
shareMy favorite scene is the demo derby and especially when she is out to get vengence and shaking her hands at the guy who caused her to break them! But really, she leaves in the middle of having her hair and nails done? What about Jane (June Bride) she leaves during her reception!)
