Never thought Sally Field was hot til I saw Norma Rae

Family Guy once did a bit questioning the attractiveness of Sally Field when she was cast in Smokey and the Bandit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlehP761fE8&nohtml5=False.

And I agreed with it. I never thought she was the least bit attractive til I watched Norma Rae. I had to rewatch many scenes because I was too distracted by her "assets". :O

Wow, she was cute.

She has a nice nudie scene in a film with Schwarzenegger in the 70s or so.

Sally is a great example of someone who is actually really gorgeous, but was never allowed to be seen as being "the gorgeous one" because Hollywood did not have have that agenda for her. The studios probably never saw her sex appeal as being that bankable and so she was cast in a bunch of dowdy, motherly roles. Truthfully, though, she was always beautiful, even (especially) when she was covered in factory soot and sweat in Norma Rae. Fortunately, society's beauty standards have changed a little, but I still think she's difficult to market.

I'm glad this film showcases how amazing her appearance actually was.

Yes, if an actress one likes steps in front of movie camera, she is beautiful and really gorgeous. Yes, the answer is yes. She cannot be average-looking or even pretty, she must be really gorgeous, since she steps in front of a movie camera. Yes. Hollywood's agenda made her homely until later, yes.

I was also impressed by her lovely face (that long hair was truly becoming), as well as the sexy body and bold attitude.

I actually had to pause the movie for a few minutes to... well, I don't need to get into details. Never thought that'd happen with Sally Field. Very surprised.
