MAG Dragster Help

Just some questions I'm trying to find out answers to. The more I find out the easier it is to build the dragster model.
Was the dragster painted with metallic paints? What kind of motor did it have? Does anyone know what color yellow the dragster was painted? I mean if you look up the coupe you find out it was canary yellow. What was the color of the inside of the dragster? It looks either white or maybe grey? I know the belts are black same with the frame. I would ask about the gauges but they never showed the inside. Does the blue/orange strip go full way across the back to the other side? The flames look like they are a off yellow, then red, followed by blue. Does the cover where Milners name come off or is that solid? I have been searching forums and fan boards. I'm finding alot of people saying that the decals, tires, and motor are not the same as the movie.

The main reason why I'm needing info is mainly the model kit came out in '79. You can not find this model unless someone is going to sell off their collection. I am building a replica model of this dragster. This means it's going to be better or as close to the movie one.



I'm having a hard time trying to find out info on this.
