After Drax is defeated, I rapidly lose interest in the film

Am I the only one who feels that, once Bond defeats Drax, the remaining "Bond has to destroy the pods before they reach earth" bit is uninteresting?

IMO it'd be better if, before the final confrontation between Bond and Drax, the US space marines were told by Bond about the existing pods after boarding the station, allowing the marines to quickly destroy them in space. That way Drax's sense of defeat ("At least I shall have the pleasure of putting you out of my misery") would have been complete.

How can you lose interest when "attempting re-entry" is still to come?

The literal climax of the entire movie...

I'm patching it to the White House and Buckingham Palace.

I'm sure Her Majesty will be fascinated!
