One of Amitabh's best...

...and one of the best Hindi films I've seen thus far. Amitabh's acting was especially superb, and I have come to like him more as an actor after watching this film. It is such a subtle performance and convincing performance. The film itself is, for the most part, convincing and authentic. It really drew me in and in many ways, I could actually relate to the main character.

It's sad that films like Manzil and Main Azaad Hoon are rated lower than films like Don (1978) and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. Don't misunderstand me, I liked the latter two films. However, take Don, for example; I was a little underwhelmed by it.

Of course, I still have many more of Amitabh's films to watch but so far, this is one of his top ones.
