translation of song in restaurant

Thanks for reintroducing one of the lost classics of Asian cinema. I'm from Singapore, and a friend and I went crazy watching this stuff over the weekend.

I will translate the lyrics for the song in the restaurant here. It's not a literal translation, but I wish to capture the wit and flavor of the original Chinese.

I'll eat just about anything
From seafood to wild game,
If you're starving cos of me
I'd gladly take the blame.

Come to me, compadres,
fill me up today
If I'm happy, you'd be too,
The bill I'd gladly pay.

Ooh I've gotta take a bite
Cos I've got an appetite
(Wangatuka wangatuka wah...appetit! Bon appetit!)
Ha ha ha!
One and all!

Give me some beer and add the ice
Mmm thanks that's oh so nice
A flame grilled steak a great meal makes
I'd gladly have a slice

Come to me, compadres,
fill me up today,
If I'm happy, you'd be too,
The bill I'd gladly pay.

Ooh I've gotta take a bite
Cos I've got an appetite
(Wangatuka wangatuka wah...appetit! Bon appetit!)
Ha ha ha!
One and all!

Yeah--thanks! I can't believe it took this long for anybody to respond to this, by the way.

Now what does the theme song say?:)

Again not a literal translation, but I want to capture the wit and flavor of the original so that you can sing it to the tune.

Ooh la la ka ka ooh la la.... (x4)

To get rich you gotta be fast
Second might as well be last.
Be a player, floor the hot chicks and
Let the others take the rest.

Get to work like a bullet on speed.
Don't take up more time than you need.
If success keeps going to the other guy
Work like him and you'll see why.

Shoot shoot shoot
The bullets are flying
And the cannons are all firing too
Life's a battle, you're a grunt
But one day that hero might be you.

Always lead from the front lines,
Fear no grenades nor land mines
Get up and go with your gun ablaze
Fortune favors all the brave in time.

Best thread on this board!

YES. Most useful and important too. Well, other than the one that pointed out a widescreen DVD of this movie now exists...
