Does anyone know if they have attempted to get this movie? They released a couple of other Bertolucci movies, so I would assume they would want to release this one. I don't see any reason why Fox wouldn't give them the rights, unless of course it's because of those pesky music clearances which have probably prevented a video or DVD release after all these years.

shareI read at a web site somewhere on the Internet, that stated that a US re-release of "Luna" on home video may have been delayed for many years, because the song, "Night Fever", by the Bee Gees, was part of the film soundtrack, and the band members refused to allow the use of the song in the film (it does not appear in any of the controversial scenes in the film).
With only one surviving band member left, I guess that the estates of the other band members outvoted him, or the final decision was left to himself, and the use of the song was finally given the "green light" in this DVD/Blu-Ray re-release of "Luna".
