If you want the ORIGINAL music

You'll need to catch it on the high definition cable channel In Demand INHD - I just managed to bump into it the other day and, not only was it presented in 1080 (hi-def), but it contained the original soundtrack. GOD I HATE IT WHEN THEY ALTER MUSIC, but at least there's hope for THIS one. If you need more information, you can write me at: [email protected]

The bad thing is sometimes once they alter the video/DVD version for release the TV stations seem to show the altered version only. I guess they get sued otherwise.
The In Demand channel must have gotten under the Lawyer Radar.

There's a movie Return of the Living Dead 2 where I actually had seen in on TV with the original version Soundtrack and Scenes. Then AFTER the DVD came out with altered music and an added Voice Over at the beginning, that was the only version I could find on any cable channels.

Sad.

Does anyone know? I've just re-watched it on DVD and quel disappointment! "I Love The Night Life, I Love To Boogie" was what made me want to get up and dance in the movie house when I first watched it and was SO LOOKING FORWARD to hearing it in this movie (and it wasn't there - but it WAS in the trailer!!!! on the same DVD.) Does anyone know WHY they changed the song - and with such an inferior one at that!? I'd love to know.

Just a side note: unfortunately, because I taped it off the HD channel onto a format called D-VHS, I'm unable to make any duplicates of it (in case anyone wanted one), so apologies in advance for that. I'd keep a lookout for showings of it on cable though - as it might still be airing with the original music even if the DVD release is screwed up with replacement songs.

Wait a minute... who am I here?
