I'll never forget his character:

the murderous gangster with a stutter who loved to watch Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald singing to each other.
The tears ran down his cheeks as he watched them

and the tears still run down my cheeks when I think of his character in that movie.

"Can't we.....can't we......can't we....have some....some music......or something?"

Yeah, he kind of stole the movie. Hilarious.

I don't know, I think it's his worst performance. Found him very annoying

Maybe his performance meant to be annoying.It fits to the film's character,half-baby/half-adult.A grotesque portrait of a mobster who does not even have the power of will.
