Thank You Linda And Shaun!

The first time I saw your portrail about how hard it is/was for hadicapped adults to make themselves prove to the public, let alone their parents, how they to can/could live a very 'normal' life like anyone else I was hooked. I have lived for the past 35 years with a disability that people have also consisdered me to be 'not normal'. I need for the people in my life to see this film and to see what gave me the strength to stay alive all these years.
I must confess that the first reason that I watched this program was only because my 'hero' Shaun Cassidy was one of the leading stars!

Thank God for your parents and the talents you gained from your parents Shaun!
Linda, I also thank you for coming back to the TV on 'Matlock' because it made me want to also pursue the criminal background. I now have gained a forensic scienctist degree. God Bless The Hardy Boys and Matlock for giving 'US' these extordinary actors!!!!

thank you,
A Fan Forever,
Shari

Shari,
I just read this now and wanted to say how wonderful it is at what you have found strength in and what you have accomplished. No matter one's ability, it takes incredible discipline, dedication and drive to gain a degree in forensic science. I know this firsthand because when I first entered college, this was the path I wanted to pursue. For many reasons, I ended going a different route. However, you should be highly commended for your accomplishment.

I totally agree that Shaun Cassidy and Linda Purl gave the best performances of their career.Whoever said their acting was bad is retarded.Playing a retarded person is not easy but, they sure made it look easy.they should have won emmys for their work.

Shari, I'm glad you are doing so well in your life. I also struggle with people's wrong perception of me and my disability. I, too enjoyed Linda and Shawn's performances in the movie.
