Emmet Dalton

I remember this movie vaguely, but one scene I can't forgot is the sad love story with Emmet Dalton and a woman. From what I remember, Emmet survived the big shoot out and was later shown laying on a bed having his wounds taken care of by a doctor. His girl walks in and, Emmet, laying there bare chested, stares back at her sadly. He later gets Life In Prison, but the narrator stated he got pardoned after serving 14 long years and that his lady was "waiting for him" after he got out.

What a touching love story.

He later became a very successful real estate developer in Los Angeles. He once observed ruefully that he made more money out of one housing development than from all of the robberies put together. He died in 1937.
