R rating.......

I haven't seen this movie, but it has an R rating. Anyone know why?

I seem to remember language that would have earned the R rating when Janet Margolin tells her story toward the end of the movie.

There is also some violence.

Isn't there a scene where Ellie, as a hooker, is both riding and drowning a guy in a motel tub? Definitely R-rated on both counts.

Nudity, language, violence and adult theme. Harry doesn't seem the least bit
concerned (in fact he seems amused) about the white slavery conducted by the Jewish organization. In fact, this movie is about the most antisemitic film I'm seen, yet it was made by and stars Jews.

No, Robert. No.

(Spoiler alert) I'm with transmentalist. Margolin's earlier Niagara scene alone is easily worth an R-rating. Hominah, hominah, hominah... You will not think of Margolin the same way again after watching that scene. Early in the movie, I kept thinking, "Why was this icebox cast in this movie...she's awful!" By the end of the movie...boy, was I wrong.
