Bad Ending
I just saw this Movie and it was awesome but i really disliked the ending that really ruined the Movie. Why is it that such a great Movie has such a bad ending. Does anyone else feel the same?
shareI was a bit disappointed because of a misunderstanding. Before I saw this movie, I had never heard of Wong Yue. On the cover of my DVD version, it said "Wang Yu", so I thought it was Jimmy Wang Yu! Since I had not seen him after an hour or so into the movie, I was positive that he was the prince's evil brother, and that they were going to fight after taking down Lo Lieh and his crew. Oh well though, the wine tasting scene and the antique shop-scene is what makes this movie so great.

shareThe first hour of this movie had great comedy and some subtle but clever martial artistry. The final half hour abandoned the comedy and pretences and just went into a standard kung fu film which i thought wasn't bad but no where near on par with the first hour. They could of done things differently but it was a jolly kung fu fest of enjoyment all the same.
