Not Bad

This movie ('79) could only be a remake because they don't make movies like this anymore. Not surprised it is a Hitchcock remake either...it is pure Hitchcock. However there were many reviews that were negative, saying it is inferior to the original. I have not seen the origianl yet, but this movie is pretty good. I think the only, unfortunate problem is Cybil Shepard, who isn't terrible, but overacts a bit and is somewhat shirll. She and Elliot Gould have great chemistry and are very funny together but if only someone told her to tone it down a bit while they were making the film, it would have been much better. Otherwise, it is really a good movie with great performances by the supporting cast and beautiful scenery. Definitely worth checking out.
