Billy's Last Words

Hallo! A couple of days ago watched the movie for the first time in my life. Amazing movie! Hoffman and Streep were tremendous but Justin Henry character has blown me away with his performance, especially in the end.

My favourite scene is that in the park when Ted tells Billy that the boy has to move to his mother's house. The kid's reaction brings tears to my eyes. A kid acting like that....wow. But my English fails me when I try to figure out what he says at the end of the scene, his last line which turns out to be his very last in the entire movie. The line seems to go like “Dad,don't forget once, you can just call me up, OK?” but I keep on hearing something like the following: “Dad, whenever you get lonesome, just call me up,OK? ” I saw on internet there are other people who hear the second version so I am not the only one. Rather confusing. So which one is it?

Anyway saying this kid seems trying to cheer his dad up. That's why this scene gets me. Total self-sacrifice and devotion to each other of both characters. Amazing.
