Great movie!

This movie is very good. I'm 28 years old and I have always avoided watching this movie whenever it came on. Because I always thought it would be boring. But I was pleasently suprised when I saw it. It often felt like I was watching a reality show because it felt so real. Ahh,the irony...reality shows seem more fake than this movie. Meryl Streep is amazing in this. In the beggining I judged her character and just thought how can a mom leave her own child like that. But towards the end when she was giving her testimony its very obvious that she suffered from mental health issues. And working in a hospital I have interacted with many patients who suffer from depression and its a tough disease. I think at end she made the right decision in regards to leaving the son. Because if she did decide to take the boy and she had a mental break while the boy is in her care,what would have happened? Would she allow him to get attached to her and leave again? So,in all I think it was a good ending.
