A question about a scene.
Why does Jesus tell the people to not tell anyone after he heals the 12 year old girl who is dying?
When he casts the demons out of the man he tells him to go and tell people what God has done for him.
Well, nobody else has jumped on this one, so I'll give it a try.
Jesus tells the man to return home and tell what has happened to him. The narrative of this same event in Mark notes that the demon-possessed man was from the Decapolis. This was a nearby area that was predominantly Gentile (mainly Greek) in population, and Jesus knew that making the miracle known in a Gentile area would not have the same effect that it would in a predominantly Jewish area.
In the case of the girl, this area was heavily Jewish in population, and some Messianic ideas might start circulating before Jesus was ready.
Anyhow, that's my take on the scenes you asked about.
