this film changed my life

Hello everybody,
just wanted to share with you that this film changed my life 15 years ago. Jesus seemed to be so real and so close. I felt His kindness and patience to us. I cried and asked for forgiveness. I was moved, I have never seen anything like that since then. I still remember the image of God it left me with.
It does not matter whether you like this movie or find numerous reasons why it should be criticised, this film was made with love and care for humanity. It was not made to earn money but to attempt to describe God's character and His life on earth. We should be respectful and grateful.
I have just bought this movie from amazon. I am so happy to find it.
I wish you experience the same feeling that I did 15 years ago.

As a film, I thought it was a bit cheesy and dated, but the message is good and yeah I agree, it's got a good purpose. Thanks for sharing! lol

I was hoping you were going to say it made you an atheist.

Ah, well...

I'm an atheist, but yeah. I loved this movie as a child. Jesus always looked so nice and calm.

Love this movie, mainly because its so accurate to scripture and potrays well how Jesus would of reacted in situations. The latest "the bible" tv series is so inaccurate and really doesn't follow what God was doing through Israel, and then Jesus. Jesus Christ's words are for all people, Atheists, Hindu's, Muslims, anyone. Jesus claims to be the way the truth and the life, consider carefully his claims in light of how he lived and how he died, then consider the disciples response and how the message has spread. Jesus can only be 1 of 3 things. A liar - not plausible considering the disciples and early churches willingness to die for it. A lunatic - read Mathew 5-6 Jesus sermon the mount and see if you really believe a lunatic can speak those words. Or God himself come in flesh. Only God can truly open our darkened minds to see this wonderful truth. But he promises "those who seek, will find, those who knock the door will be opened". If you choose not to seek, God will reveal himself to you in Judgement, right now he's patiently waiting for those who he has called to turn and be saved.
God bless

Thank you for sharing. This is the fourth film I've watched about the life of Jesus (Passion of the Christ, Jesus of Nazareth, and the Bible miniseries are the other three) and each of them have been truly inspirational and beautiful. Every time I watch a film about Jesus, I am always amazed at how much pain He chose to suffer through just for me. I know I don't deserve it, but I'm glad He did anyways. Reading about it in the Bible is very great. But actually watching the events of Jesus's life unfold makes me feel like I'm really there witnessing it so I'm grateful films detailing His life exist (though I'm aware sometimes they take "artistic liberties," so it's also important to read about it to compare and contrast the films with the actual word of God).
