Release a BluRay in widescreen!

"Jericho Mile"(1979) is a masterpiece and should get a great BluRay release in widescreen!

It's as important a movie as Spielberg's "Duel"(1971) which should get a BluRay release, too!

Both movies were made for TV, but shot on 35mm and shown theatrically overseas
in an aspect ratio of 1:1,66 or 1:1,85.
The 1:1,78 aspect ratio of modern TV sets/BluRays
would be a good compromise, too.

Both movies are classics and made the careers of both directors.

They shouldn't be forgotten.

They should get a proper Criterion Collection treatment!

"Duel"(1971) got a great BluRay release at the end of 2014:
