Birds are not to be caged

How would you like to be held in a 5 x 5 cage all of your life?

I agree. I have to admit....I did have a pair of love birds; and the only time they were caged, was in the store and the cage I used to bring them home Once I got them home.....I left the cage door open. They learned to fly in and out to eat their food and drink water. I let them fly freely all over my house. Strangely enough they pooped only in the cage, and when I went to bed....they would fly into my room....land on my bed.....and find a place just under the top part of my blanket to snuggle down close to me to sleep. Needless to say......I had to totally change my sleeping habits so I wouldn't roll over on them.....LOL! They used to make such pretty noises...and I loved listening to them. I had to be careful that they didn't fly out the front and back doors when they were open. I had them for about 15 years until they died of old age. They were so beautiful.....and I am glad I never caged them.
