Except for Dayton Ka Ne........

this was a disaster of a movie! Mr. Ka Ne was no actor but he was certainly eye-candy, and I wonder what has become of him of late. He was in one other movie about surfing and then..........nothing. Dayton is the son of LeRoy Ka Ne, who was a star football player at the University of Dayton, Dayton, OH,(hence the name---LeRoy must have loved the city where he went to college); LeRoy was a student of my mother, who is now 89 years old. Mom liked LeRoy very much; I would like to know if LeRoy is still alive and what has happened to Dayton. Regarding the movie, however, the dialogue was laughable and the screen writers should have been shot. Mia Farrow was SO wrong for this movie, skinny as a skeleton and so white, you could see through her. The other actors were only half there, as well. I still keep this film (on fuzzy VHS) because of the gorgeous, lush tropical backdrops and, of course, Dayton Ka Ne!
