Just rewatched this movie, haven't seen it in 20+ years.

While not perfect, it does have some compelling scenes where a large powerful robot is chasing around a beautiful woman.

One has to wonder if Cameron watched this and said to himself "There is something to this....I can come up with a better story"

Cameron must have plundered this movie. A few of the handheld shots reminded me of Aliens.

This movie had a really good premise, it was just hampered by 3rd rate execution and you could just tell that the producers overruled the writers/director as they wanted this to be about Farrah getting boinked by a still virile Dirk Digglous
