Now available as a widescreen MOD disc from Amazon, November of 2012

Amazon.com is now selling a widescreen 1:85-1 MOD (manufactured-on-demand) disc of this film that has a clearer, much sharper image than the old VHS. This is the CHILLY cut with the sad ending.

It is in a two-disc set with another John Heard film, CUTTER'S WAY. Each film gets its own disc, which helps the quality of the image.

This is the best home video print I've ever seen of CHILLY SCENES OF WINTER. I only wish that the HEAD OVER HEELS happy ending had been included as well.

THANKS SO MUCH, because the first think I think of for a DVD from an older movie is ...Is the transfer ok?
ordered right away.

and By the way I also Love Cutter's Way, a great movie, Jeff Bridges was great (as well as Heard) but I really Love Lisa Eichhorn in this, I remember seeing it around the same time as Chilly Scenes on HBO, but did not have a copy.
My current copy of Chilly Scenes is the A&E version, complete with commercial cuts! Simply worn out too of course.
