Blu-ray from Twilight Time

Hardcore is a tough film to watch, but one that is very much worth the journey. As has been pointed out in other places, its title has a double meaning — obviously the first being associated with pornographic films, but the second as being a descriptor on how dedicated one is to their religious beliefs. Hardcore is about both, but ironically, one receives far more prominence than the other. Guess which one. This is probably one of Twilight Time’s best releases in a while. Great PQ and AQ are enough alone to warrant a purchase, but the audio commentary by writer/director Paul Schrader more than puts it over the top. http://www.cutprintfilm.com/blu/hardcore/
