In 1989-90, I went to school (college) with a woman named Mimi who grew up in the house they used in the movie. We drove by it on our way to lunch at the Spaghetti Factory. It is located at 314 South Plymouth, Los Angeles, Ca.

Yes, Mimi told me it was 5000 SqFt. It was sold to an Asian couple. Mimi knocked on the door and explained who she was. They let her in. Much construction was done in the house; especially in the kitchen.
