I finally saw this on Fox Movie Channel and could not believe how bad and boring it was. Carol Burnett was the only good thing about it. I expected so much more with Lauren Bacall and Glenda Jackson. Overall, a big disappointment.
shareIt's a flawed movie for sure, but I don't think it's without merit. I really thought it got a lot better as it went along, and I'm glad they focused mainly on Carol Burnett because she was the most interesting character. It's one of Altman's lesser films, but it definitely deserves a DVD release sometime in the future!
