What's so controversial about this movie?

reply

I think it was controversial for the time; a time when black-man\white-woman intercourse was forbidden. The other way around was alright though.

Now-a-days, it is mostly Neo-Nazis who express (openly) the "old" outrage at this type of affair.

It's coming out on DVD and Blu Ray on July 9 2013 from Vinegar Syndrome.

Johnbernhard, thanks for that GREAT NEWS! I've always liked this movie. I like how it's like a TV movie for the first 45 minutes, and then, in an instant, it becomes incredibly shocking and disturbing.

I cant find any mention of it on this site. Where did you see this?

I just saw an ad for it from the company that will release it on DVD (Vinegar Syndrome)on one of those cult-film magazines (forgot which one - but it wasn't Fangoria). On the advertisement, the top half of it is promoting another upcoming release titled THE TELEPHONE BOOK with a very alluring illustration of a phone handle & its cord wrapped up to look like a...male member.

I still remember watching GOOD LUCK MISS WYCKOFF when it came out on my local grindhouse in Puerto Rico paired with - get this - Doris Wishman's LET ME DIE A WOMAN!

Sweet memories...

;)
