can you help with film

Hi i am hoping there is someone with a good knowledge of indian cinema who can help me find a film. i saw it ages ago and cannot remember the title. it is about a big group of kids who are like detectives and they help solve the neighbourhood problems. a very touching funny film with good music. i remember there is a big dance number a la michael jacksons thriller in the opening sequence. its not too old i dont think, perhaps late 80s early 90s.
the film deals mainly with a divorce i think although i cannot remember too much! would love to see it again! i chose this board in the hope that somebody might know the film!
any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
