I'm passionately anti-war.

But.

Why on earth would this family not have had an autopsy performed as soon as they discovered that the only mark on their son's body was a small hole in his back?

It seems to me that that might have either precluded or established the justification for this movie.

Well I believe that the only hole that's in a mans body from battle that's no bigger then the size of a pin is a bullet. The man even said it himself, I only found one mark which was a small hole at the back.
