I have seen most of Rollin's vampire and other horror movies and some of the best reasons to see them are his choice of locations. I don't think he used the same ones twice. There are a lot of ruined chateaus in France to use. The locations are almost a character in these films.

shareQuite the opposite actually. I just rewatched Fascination after after many years and I thought it was great. The manor it’s set in is splendid and, other than the half naked Lahie swinging the sickle, the thing I remembered most about this film was the bridge leading to the manor.
Rollin set up so many memorable shots in this that were just perfect.
