Does anyone know why they didn't use the same actress in Hot Bubblegum as in the first Lemon Popsicle?
I really didn't like the one in the 3rd film. I found her to be very weird and strange looking, where as the actress in the first film looks really pretty and endearing.

No, it is NOT the same character. Boaz Davidson stated this in the audio commentary for one of the DVD sets.

i spoke to benji (Yiftach) and they are defiantly not the same characters, he said he didn't even know they had same names, shes only nikki in the dubbed version

The actress who played Nili/Nikki was cute half the time, but in a couple of scenes she had weirdly glazed-over "dead" eyes that made her look like a creepy junkie.
I had a big crush on Diane Franklin as a teen, so I prefer her.
Haha yes... I just rewatched for the first time in decades and my memory of her was as a gorgeous babe, and to be fair she is very attractive but she looks stoned out of her gourd all through the movie.
