What I'd do if I were Frank Morris

(Assuming he escaped): On my death bed, I would let it be known who I was. I'd want the world to know that I escaped Alcatraz just to rub it in the system's face. If he's alive, he'd be about 90yrs old. I do hope he is alive and about ready to come out and talk some noise.

Unless he's on his deathbed he'd be better off keeping quiet cause the marshals won't close the book on case until he's 99, so technically they could arrest him.

my guess is so much time has elapsed and he never murdered anyone if they caught any of them now as 90 year olds they would probably get amnesty or something. Prisons are over crowded anyway and as it stands they let inmates out early to make room for newer ones.

And he would become FAMOUS very very famous.

I think a great revenge would be to have a picture taken of him on some beach in a tropical paradise with a beautiful lady next to him with his arm wrapped around her and a margarita in the other hand and send it as a "post card" to the warden to rub it in.

There is a proverb that justice delayed is justice denied so if they catch him now after he has had over half a century of freedom when he should have been in prison would be silly. Same thing with capturing old Nazi war criminals from world war 2. Recently a 94 year old man was put on trial for getting a job as a security guard in Auschwitz when he was 17, after getting that many decades of freedom its not much of a victory.

Morris did some burglaries and thefts. He wasn't a nazi death camp participant. Difference. Nazi criminals should be chased to their deathbeds and prosecuted.
