Kurt Russell singing?
I know in many scenes it is obvious that Kurt Russell is lip-syncing, but did he actually record the vocals?

Nah. There was a guy named Ronnie McDowell who was an Elvis sound-alike who did a lot of Elvis bios. He even capitalized on Elvis' death by recording a song called The King Is Gone just weeks (it may have been days) after Elvis' death. I think The Sweet Inspirations even provided the background vocals too (that's loyalty for you). He sounds more like a 70s Elvis than a 50s or 60s one to my ears.
"No! That’s not true at all. Elvis takes fifty percent of everything I earn." Col. Parker
Yes, in one scene where he is singing "Sweet Caroline" to Lisa Marie.
