Copy of VHS or DVD?

Does anybody know where I could find a copy of the original theatrical version of The Electric Horseman? I have a copy, but the music has been rescored. It doesn't have "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys" in the opening credits or when Sonny lets Rising Star go. Instead it has an instrumental western theme.

I have the R2 PAL version, and while rescored in the english language, you can hear the original W Nelson song at the begininng and the letting go scene if you put the French or Spanish language tracks (no dialogue, so is ok).

I realize it's been 10 years, but I've got a VHS tape (4:3 ratio) of the original theatrical release from an old airing (1994) on the Disney channel. It has both the title & release soundtrack intact. It's an extended play recording so the video is not that good but the soundtrack is still ok. Let me know if you're interested.

Follow up to what I posted earlier. I've extracted the original soundtrack for the opening titles & the horse release scene from the VHS tape and mixed them into the 2003 DVD soundtrack. The result is a 2.35:1 anamorphic Panavasion video with a fair approximation of the original soundtrack at those locations. The resulting mp4 is not perfect, but it's truer to what Pollack & the others wanted, in my opinion. PM me if interested.

How is the quality?

Kramer: ...he was very impressed with what I do.
Elaine: What you do? You don't do anything!
