Electric Horseman - Soundtrack

Does anyone know where I can find/order the CD of this soundtrack? I would settle for the cassette but would prefer the CD.

I would try Ebay. It's great for finding cd's you can't find in stores
anymore. Good luck.

I know your post was over a year ago--but if you haven't found it yet, look on Amazon. they show a used cd for sale.

If you get it--check out Willie singing the Allman Bros. tune "Midnight Rider." Mickey Raphael's harmonica solo is worth the price of admission.

Hell--now I gotta go find a copy for myself. All I have is a vinyl record.

I have the cassette, bought in a store years ago. contact me through the private message system if you want to know more.

you know... I just bought Willie's "Greatest Hits" version of Midnight Rider off of iTunes & it's not the same as the version in the movie... dammit...

It's almost completely missing Bobbie's great piano playing... right after the line, "I gotta run to keep from hiding" there are 2 rhythmic piano chords that are key (no pun intended) and her rhythmic piano plus Mickey's harmonica are just fab! The same chords also follow after his next line- and then she does the 3 chord pick up to "ain't gonna let 'em catch me no..." If you know the version in the movie, you know what I mean.
Mickey's solo is still there & still great, nice riff by Willie on the guitar too, but the piano is almost missing.... and even stranger, Paul seems to be rushing the tempo at bit at the outset of this version....

I'm reduced to buying a vinyl LP from Ebay! dammnit! ;)

btw, did anyone else know Bobbie has finally cut a solo album at 77? Good for her! :)

I recently found a good vinyl copy from a resale shop. I just finished burning it onto CD, and it was in remarkably good shape, very few snaps, crackles, or pops. If you have a hard time finding it, reply to my post.

Amazon has it for $12.99
