Did I miss something? What the heck happened to her baby with Bill?

It was a girl and it was stillborn at birth. Remember when she was at the train station coming home from the country with her doctor and she makes him promise to keep the gravesite maintained.

It was very convenient for the plot. Easier to do it that way than to have a "coat hanger" abortion.

Thanks, I was going to ask the same question. I don't know if I dozed off or what, but I don't remember that scene at the train station. I kept thinking to myself for a large part of the movie, how much time has passed? Shouldn't she be showing by now?
