I need to talk to somebody about this movie

I just recently saw a film print of this while I was in Berlin. I have never seen it before, plus I don't speak German... at all. I know it is about corporate funded Terrorism or something, but I just found that out. When I was watching it, I thought there was some political theme, but I didn't know what.
I know the one guy with the suitcase of books was a double agent, and a couple of the others might have been double agents, too. Anyway, needless to say, I am still confused and I can't rent it to find out what happened.

Please help!

It's out on DVD from Wellspring Media. So check it out.

It's a very confusing film when you see it first, but on repeated viewings you'll get a sense of the film and who's who and what's what.

Frankly it's just as confusing with the subtitles on. It has to be seen and savoured but it's worth the effort. The film is a masterpiece, one of the most intelligence and groundbreaking political satires.

But at least you got to see it on the big screen. It's a visually stunning film.

It's more than that. Much more.

i thought it was one of fassbinder's more interesting films. i thought everyone was good and i loved the noisy soundtrack and all the philisophical references. demented movie. i felt like fassbinder was satirizing of young german radicals of that era but from an insider's perspective.

Definitely in his top 5! I am not a big fan to begin with, but this one is truly great in many ways. And I loved the entire psychedelic tone.

Just saw it for the first time last night. Whew -- I enjoyed it a great deal, but a lot of it is confusing, and I plan to see it again to sort everything out. There are a lot of plot twists thrown at the viewer, and a lot of characters with hidden or ambiguous motives moving about in this film. It is great satire, making fun of bumbling terrorists, and it also makes fun of big business and corrupt government. From a filmmaking perspective, it is superbly done. Creative camera angles and movement, great editing, great acting.

I will see this again, probably more than once, because there is a lot to absorb. Also, there are a number of scenes in which multiple characters are interacting and talking, while a baby cries, and music plays, and someone on TV drones on in the background -- a lot of overstimulation, visually and verbally. It had the visual and sonic density of Godard's Alphaville, another film that requires multiple views to fully comprehend.
