I hope this movie eventually gets a blu-ray release.

I know it's easier said than done, but if the picture and audio quality could be cleaned up a bit and remastered, I bet a lot more people would enjoy this movie and stop saying that it's the worst thing they've ever seen.

If movies like Maniac and Don't Go in the House can get blu-ray releases, then The Driller Killer should too! Maybe Cult Epics will eventually release it. They did the special edition DVD a while back.

I agree. I have the two disc Cult Epics DVD but the main film is not utilized for a widescreen TV so you're watching it in a damn box the whole time. It deserves a proper blu ray release.

Arrow Video just announced they're releasing a blu-ray release for the United States and United Kingdom in November.
